  2. All other LTAP training events will be considered electives and will be given credit according to the number of hours of training provided (half day workshops will typically be worth 3 hours, full days’ typically worth 6 hours). To receive credit for attendance you must attend the entire course. You must check in at registration and receive the certificate presented at the end of the course.

  3. Multiple day events will have event total credits. (I.E. County Bridge Conference Day1= 6 Credit Hours & Day2 = 6 Credit Hours Event Total = 12 Credit Hours.)

  4. The value of actual “on the job” work experience is recognized and will be given credit at the rate of 30 hours for each year of experience. This is similar to the work experience requirement for registration as a Professional Engineer. (300 Credit Hours allowed for work experience.)

  5. Credit may also be given for attendance at LTAP events over the past 5 years. The applicant will be required to complete a form to receive this credit. By signature of this form, the applicant will be certifying the information to be true and correct.
