The below tables contain cost data obtained from a bridge project that used three reinforcement options: traditional rebar, WWR small mat (manually placed) and WWR large mat (mechanically placed)

Table 1 Shows the total cost (material and labor) for each option. Notice WWR material cost is higher than rebar. Even with higher material costs it is more economical than rebar.
